The regular State welding competition will be held in Nashville at Miller-Motte Technical College on April 7, 2012, at 8 AM. More information to follow at a later date. There will be an additional welding contest at the Tennessee SkillsUSA State Competition on April 23/25, 2012, in Chattanooga and will be a Welding Sculpture Contest. [...]

Tools to be Furnished by the Contestant 1. 12 oz Ball Peen Hammer 2. Six foot rule or Tape measure 3. Tubing Cutters (Capable of up to 1″ OD) 4. Wire Striper & Crimper 5. Crescent Wrenches (8″ & 10″) 6. Screw Drivers (Both Phillips & Straight) 7. Volt & Amp meters (DVOM)

Supplied by the contestant: a. Desktop computer/monitor or laptop b. Visual Basic, Java, C++ or RPG software c. One copy only of the coding reference manual of the language in which they will code the program d. Ballpoint pens or sharpened pencils e. Blank notebook paper f. one-page résumé
